Corpus Christi Beach
Just a short 5-10 minute drive across the
magnificent Harbor Bridge and you are on Corpus Christi Beach. Here is
you will find the famed USS Lexington floating Museum
and the Texas State Aquarium. Nestled on the this little island is great
seafood, fun
shops, several hotels, a beach and two
fishing jetties. If you do not
want to drive to Corpus Christi Beach you can catch the water taxi over
to the aquarium.
The USS Lexington Museum on the Bay
This warship of American History is a must visit
on one of your trips to Corpus Christi. A veteran of World War II
retired to Corpus Christi Bay to tell it's story as well as the sailors
who served. The carrier also has a Mega Theater and offers special
camping trips onboard the museum. A side note: the movie "Pearl Harbor"

Texas State Aquarium
The aquarium offers a unique look into marine
life of the Gulf of Mexico, Laguna Madre, and other fresh and salt water
locations in Texas. The aquarium is educational, entertaining and
relaxing as it sits right on the Bay. (visit)
