Sometimes referred to as North Beach, Corpus Christi Beach sits across the
Harbor Bridge
from downtown Corpus. This beach is part of a man made island that was built
in Corpus Christi Bay. This is a great family beach that provides views and
easy access to the USS Lexington along with the
Texas State Aquarium.
Some of the best seafood restaurants in the city are located footsteps from
this beach. Spend a day at the beach then sit with a view of the city lights
and the "Blue Ghost" as you enjoy your meal for the evening. You could even
catch the trolley or water taxi across the ship channel to downtown Corpus
to see a play, catch a baseball game or take in some live music!
Corpus Christi Beach has many vacation rentals, condos and several hotels to
stay in. There is also a R.V. Campground on the island. All offer easy
access to the beach with several accommodations offering beachfront access
and views. On a clear day you can see across the Bay to Port Aransas, North
Padre Island and the Gulf of Mexico.
