Golf Courses on Padre Island
North Padre Island and Mustang Island both have 18 hole
semi-private golf courses. These golf courses provide challenge along with
scenic enjoyment due to the golf course design and local conditions. The Padre
Isles Club and the Arnold Palmer Designed Newport Dunes golf courses are just
one more reason it is good to be On Padre Island.
Padre Isles Country Club
This links style course flows through the dunes and wetlands of North Padre
Island. The golf courses' scenic view quickly becomes unnoticed as the
challenging play takes over. Prevailing southeast wind (often blowing 20+
mph)for much of the year , water on nearly every hole, long natural grasses and
definitely worth mentioning again, the wind will challenge even the best of
players. . Padre Isles is a certified Audubon Sanctuary. The Padre Isles Golf
Course is located at 14353 Commodores Drive on North Padre Island. The Pro Shop

Newport Dunes
The golf course at Newport Dunes is an Arnold Palmer Signature Course. Located
on Mustang Island just south of the city of Port Aransas on State Hwy 361.
Completed in 2008 the golf course takes advantage of the natural beauty of the
Mustang Island dunes. Running alongside the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico the
tropical breezes come into play on every hole. This golf course lives up to
everything one would expect from its legendary designer. The course can be

Adjacent to the golf course is the
Days Inn Port Aransas
Although this hotel is not part of the Newport Beach and Golf Resort its
location makes for an ideal hotel to stay and play. The hotel is also with in
walking distance of the Mustang Island Beaches.
